Speonk

An everyday gateway to the East End.

Speonk has a local center along Montauk Highway and around its railroad station, with residential streets extending into the surrounding landscape. It shares close historical and geographic ties with neighboring Remsenburg.

Traditional houses and later residential development give the hamlet several different settings. Its identity is more inland and village-centered than the oceanfront communities farther south. The surrounding roads connect it with Moriches Bay and the broader western Hamptons.
