Historic streets. A soaring skyline.

The Financial District places some of New York’s oldest streets beneath some of its tallest buildings. Wall Street, Federal Hall, and Trinity Church connect the neighborhood to the city’s early history, while the World Trade Center and the Oculus bring a contemporary scale.

Former office buildings converted to residences share the streets with purpose-built apartment towers. The Battery and the nearby Seaport offer different waterfront perspectives, making this a neighborhood of dramatic contrasts between narrow streets, open harbor views, and monumental architecture.
