Gramercy’s townhouses and established apartment buildings surround one of Manhattan’s most distinctive green spaces. Gramercy Park itself is private; access is limited to eligible keyholders, rather than guaranteed to everyone living in the neighborhood.

Beyond the park, the surrounding streets mix residential buildings with local restaurants and shops. Irving Place and the nearby public spaces of Union Square and Stuyvesant Square add to the area’s character.
