Point Lookout

Where the island meets the inlet.

Point Lookout occupies the eastern tip of the Long Beach barrier island, where Jones Inlet meets the Atlantic and the bays. A small commercial center and closely drawn residential streets create a recognizable hamlet setting.

Beach cottages and newer houses sit within a compact coastal landscape. Water, working boats, and the changing light around the inlet contribute to its character. The scale is intimate, with the surrounding shore providing a broader sense of space.
